David Hervieux Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

David has over 13 years of experience in software development. As President and CEO, David is responsible for Devolutions’ corporate strategy, and for overseeing product development.

After establishing Devolutions inc. in 2004 as a software consulting service, David evolved the company’s mission in 2010 to focus on turn-key software solutions. Today, with over 150,000 users in more than 70 countries, Devolutions is a leader in the field.

Reflecting on Devolutions’ success, David credits his extensive experience in software architecture, his entrepreneurial spirit, his solid foundation of business intelligence, and a total commitment to satisfying customers. His hard work and vision was recently recognized at Devtech50 in 2011, where he won two prestigious awards, including Best Business Model.

David holds several certifications in the IT field, and earned his Computer Science diploma from the University of Montreal.

Stéfane Lavergne Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Stéfane has more than 15 years of experience in software development and database architecture, and has successfully completed projects in the shipping industry, outdoor advertising, the medical field, and others.

As Chief Technology Officer, Stéfane is responsible for evolving Devolutions’ product line, defining multi-platform strategy (MacOS, iOS, Android, etc.), and overseeing research and development efforts.

Stéfane earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba. He has since achieved several professional Microsoft certifications, including: MCITP Database Developer 2008, MCITP Database Developer on SQL Server® 2005 and MCSD for Microsoft .NET.

Maxime Trottier Director of Marketing

Maxime has extensive experience in product management, communication and advertising, and has spent the last several years helping renowned organizations bring their high-end solutions to customers worldwide.

As Director of Marketing, Maxime leads Devolutions’ international market research and development efforts, along with customer relations and overall business development. He’s driven to bring innovative and cutting-edge solutions to Devolutions’ customers around the globe.

Maxime earned his Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Québec at Trois-Rivières, and regularly attends sales and marketing workshops to increase his knowledge and expertise.

Maurice Côté Product Manager

Maurice brings more than 15 years of IT experience to the Devolutions team. For 12 years he served as an avionics technician and instructor in the Canadian Army, and has also worked as a system/network/database IT administrator, solution architect, and team manager. He has also successfully completed several projects for world renowned organizations in the medical industry, and in the online marketing field.

As Devolutions’ Product Manager, Maurice leads and manages our development team on every project. He has extensive knowledge of different languages, including C# and .NET, alongside expertise in MS SQL, Oracle and MySQL. In addition, his world class team management experience elevates our development structure to the next level.

Maurice earned his Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi, and holds several IT certifications.

Mélissa Gagnon Office Manager

Mélissa has nearly a decade of experience in the accounting and financial field. Therefore, she has a solid background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, creating and analyzing financial statements, and other key accounting tasks. She also holds a certificate in business administration.

As Devolutions’ Office Manager, Mélissa, is in charge of managing the firm’s Lavaltrie office, overseeing both the sales and marketing departments, and monitoring reseller relationships.

Mélissa’s innovative and solution-oriented focus has significantly contributed to many new procedures that have improved internal quality control and planning, helped streamline operations, and created more satisfied resellers and customers around the world.

Matthieu Goulet Project Manager for Web Development and Graphic Design

Matthieu is web specialist and webmaster with over 8 years of in-depth experience in multimedia web design, web programming and web integration. He is renowned for his creativity, professionalism, artistic sense, and knowledge of numerous design tools.

As Devolutions’ Project Manager for Web Development and Graphic Design, Matthieu ensures that company’s website, associated digital assets and concepts, and overall corporate image remain at world-class levels for technical excellence, functional efficiency and visual elegance.

Matthieu holds degrees in 2D and 3D Online Animation and Multimedia Production, and is currently taking specialized E-commerce courses at HEC Montreal.

André Sanscartier Senior Software Developer

André has over 25 years of experience in software development, and has worked on several projects in many languages, including: Delphi, Cobol, Pascal, C++, C#. He consistently works at a world-class technical level, and has earned a reputation for effectively solving complex problems, and for deploying robust, reliable solutions.

As Devolutions’ Senior Software Engineer, André focuses on developing feature-rich and elegantly efficient plug-ins for the company’s flagship product, Remote Desktop Manager.

André holds a degree in Software Engineering, with a specialization in .NET programming and C#. He is constantly deepening his software design knowledge to ensure that he’s on the leading edge of new technologies, ideas and solutions.

Richard Markiewicz Software Architect

Richard has over a decade of experience in designing and implementing web, desktop, enterprise and mobile software projects for diverse industries that include construction, finance and advertising.

As a Software Architect, Richard is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of cross platform products and technologies at Devolutions. He has a thorough knowledge and background in a wide range of systems, including Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, iOS and Android.

Working with such a diverse range of technologies allows Richard to stay on the cutting edge of industry trends while delivering new solutions and development practices. Richard holds a degree in Computer Science.

Anne-Marie Mongeon Marketing Coordinator

Anne-Marie brings a strong marketing, public relations and communication background to the Devolutions team. She is renowned for her creativity and energy, and most recently worked at a top-level marketing agency in Montreal.

As Devolutions’ Marketing Coordinator, Anne-Marie is in charge of the company’s social media and advertising portfolios. She is also responsible for establishing, maintaining and developing relationships within and beyond the Remote Desktop Manager community.

While working at Devolutions, Anne-Marie is also completing her Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Montreal.

Annie Létourneau Marketing Coordinator

Annie has nearly 15 years of experience as a web project manager, and has an extensive background in design, experiential marketing, interactive media and sales management.

As Marketing Coordinator, Annie is responsible for managing Devolutions’ online community. She also focuses on customer service, branding, web development, and optimizing marketing tools and campaigns.

With a passion for excellence and a desire to constantly improve and get to the next level, Annie’s philosophy is: “To be successful, the first thing to do is fall in love with your work” (Sister Mary Lauretta).
